Deep Tropics Festival Guide

House music is on the rise in the South. It’s taken us a while but it’s finally happening. The scene is poised to blossom into a full bodied movement. Promoters and events around Atlanta, Orlando, and Nashville are right on the edge of this colorful movement. Enter DEEP TROPICS! Held the weekend before Labor Day Weekend, as one of the last bangs of the summer, Deep Tropics is put on by a tight-nit but well-connected independent group and proceeds benefit the Greenways of Nashville. As the weekend draws closer, here’s your guide to thriving at Deep Tropics!

The Venue

Bicentennial Park
600 James Robertson Pkwy
Nashville, TN 37243

The Schedule

After Parties

There’s plenty of after parties to keep the vibes going, late into the night! Here’s the full schedule of *official* late night romps:

Friday (pre-party): Dr. Fresch @ The Back Corner
Friday (pre-party): Earthgang @ The Cowan
Saturday: Amtrac @ The Back Corner
Saturday: Keys N Krates @ The Cowan
Sunday: Mija @ The Back Corner

The Weather

It’s August in the South…expect afternoon showers and a lot of heat. Luckily, the event is held at a park with both greenery and paved paths. So, hopefully, the mud will be minimal! But definitely plan on bringing some light rain gear that you can quickly shed, when the 20 minute summer storms pass.
