Summer Folk Festival

If you find yourself ever in Alaska, find yourself there during the summertime, specifically the 1st Saturday in June. Why? The Summer Folk Festival in Fairbanks, Alaska is worth attending.

You’ll get a nice cold heaping serving of Alaska’s finest local musicians, performers, food, and drinks.

Great Alaska Music Festival

This is a fairly new festival from the good ol’ state of Alaska but it’s worth checking out! The Great Alaska Music Festival is a lot cooler than the name sounds. The festival is held on Memorial Day weekend for 2-days at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer. It features some pretty dope alt scene musicians and is camping and caravan friendly.

Sitka Jazz Festival

The Sitka Jazz Festival is exactly what the name is, a jazz festival in Sitka, Alaska. This festival is pretty popular in the state, bringing in some great local and state jazz musicians. It’s held every year for 3-days in February, so if you’re into jazz, this one’s for you, bud!

Alaska Folk Festival

Another one on the list that’s exactly its namesake, the Alaska Folk Festival is an annual folk music festival held in Juneau, Alaska every April. It’s about a week-long event and features some of the best folk artists in both Alaska and Canada.

Last but not least is Celebration! It’s an exciting music festival taking place every June in Juneau, Alaska, (how fun!). This festival is cool as it’s a celebration of Alaska culture, music, and artists, lasting for about 3-days.
