Elvis Festival

Held every year in June, Tupelo’s Elvis Festival is an annual tribute to the king himself. It’s the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s hometown, of course, this an annual event! This festival features tribute acts, blues, country, rock and roll, and alternative rock.

Who needs a bloated Vegas impersonator when you have Tupelo’s yearly tribute festival?

Double Decker Arts Festival

Oxford, Mississippi’s Double Decker Arts Festival is both an arts and music festival. The festival takes its name from its imported double-decker bus from England, so yes, there is an English 90’s style Double Decker Bus in Mississippi and it has its own festival. Regardless of its name, the festival features music genres such as jazz, funk, blues, and rock ‘n’ roll.

Oh, yeah, and pretty badass art!

Delta Blues & Heritage Festival

One of the largest blues music festivals in Delta, Mississippi, the Delta Blues & Heritage Festival is an annual music festival held on every 3rd Saturday in September. What more can expect from a music festival in Mississippi? Good blues, good vibes, and a bit of Mississippi history.

Highway 61 Blues Festival

This humble festival is a Mississippi treasure. Held in Leland, Mississippi every late summer to early fall, the Highway 61 Blues Festival is a single-day event featuring, well, of course, some of the best blues of Mississippi. You’ll find some of the finest local and regional blues acts the state has to offer.

Sunflower River Blues & Gospel

The Sunflower River Blues & Gospel is as deep South as it gets. This 3-day music festival is held every August in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Known for being an authentic representation of Mississippi’s heritage, this music is worth checking out if you’re curious about the state’s culture.
