Shadow of the City is a pretty popular music festival, pulling crowds of the thousands, this 1-day music festival is held in the month of May every year. Its held in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and features all sorts of music acts from the alt-scene.
You may be familiar with the Bamboozle, it’s a fairly popular music festival that takes place in a variety of cities. In New Jersey, this contemporary pop music festival can be attended every year in the month of May at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford.
The Camp Jam in the Pines is a 3-day long camping caravan friendly music festival held in both the spring and fall. The festival features musical genres such as bluegrass, country, blues, and of course, Americana. Located in the heart of Pine Barrens, New Jersey, add this one to your list if you’ll be in the area next spring or fall!
A fairly new festival washing up on the Jersey Shore (lol), Sea.Hear.Now.Festival will best next year in September. The festival will be a 2-day event, taking place at the North Beach Asbury Park and Bradley Park. It’ll feature over 25 bands, mainly that of the alt scene.
