Mountain Music Festival
The Mountain Music Festival looks pretty freaking cool! This 3-day annual festival of music, outdoor adventures, and visual art is held every June at the Ace Adventure Resort in Oak Hill, West Virginia. Their lineup is that of variety, from hip-hop, rock, modern jazz, rock, and electric — you’re getting it all.
Domefest
Okay, Domefest looks dope. This 2-day festival is held in the month of May at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, West Virginia. The music is of many alt-genres and it’s nonstop with no overlapping sets.
Why is it called Domefest you ask? Why it’s a music festival camping event! And yes, it’s caravan friendly.
4848 Festival
Looks like West Virginia simply loves camping as the 4848 Festival is also a camp-site music festival. The vibes are like Domefest but set in Snowshoe, West Virginia at the Snowshow Moutain Resort. Its 2-day events featuring artists from both the alternative and indie scene.
Live on the Levee
Live on the Levee is sort of a musical festival meets live music weekly event. It takes place every Friday evening from May to August in Charleston, West Virginia. Residents and visitors alike are treated to some top music acts of the city, good booze, and gorgeous shoreline.
Frostburn
Frostburn is West Virginia‘s recreation of Burning Man. But instead of being held during the summer in the middle of Nevada’s lovely yet dry desert, it’s the polar opposite.
Frostburn is held annually in the month of February during the weekend of President’s Day. Taking place on Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, West Virginia, the festival is home to a variety of music genres from local musicians, artists, and visual artists.
