Heading back to Hula?!

Suwannee Hulaween is always something to look forward to but to say anyone is just looking forward to the 2021 version of Hula is a cruel understatement. Not being able to travel to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park for this festival since fall of 2019 has taken away a yearly tradition, a way to release or find oneself, a place to reunite with friends. However, in a few days one piece of the universe will be reestablished. This year will be very different from years past for many reasons; the fest is basically under new management, there’s still a bit of a global pandemic happening, and people just aren’t in festival shape with this being many people’s first fests since early 2020. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to have an open mind and be flexible – expect things to not quite be as you expect. Be confident in yours and your crews’ ability to work with changing and new variables. Don’t sweat the little things and remember why you’re there!
Below are some specific tips we suggest you check out – some new features of the fest, music set selections, weather forecast, and more!

After Hours 🔥 Incendia – If you find yourself in need of more beats after Skrillex, make your way into the middle of Spirit Lake where the Incendia domes will host surprise DJs until the sun comes up. You never know who will hop on the fire-y decks!

Weather Forecast
Plan for rain on Thursday. Potential for storms and high winds. When setting up camp on Thursday, stick to only unpacking the minimal items you must have. Keep everything dry in the car until the weather clears up. For anyone coming after the storms, make sure to still bring rain gear *especially rain boots* as the grounds will not have time to dry over the weekend. Mud will be inevitable but manageable.
