The Return of Okeechobee
We are ecstatic to see The Return of one of our favorite camping festivals, Okeechobee Music x Arts Festival! For 3 years, Okee was a staple of the music festival season. For many, the trip down to Florida represented the beginning of a new festival season. Okee will be our first festival to cover in 2020! Here’s a quick things-to-know guide. The festival has changed slightly, with different management, so expect some changes to the structure and logistics of this year’s fest.

Camping Tips:
For camping, each CAR needs a Car Camping pass. You can purchase these HERE.
Camping at Okeechobee is pretty great. The weather is usually temperate but winds can pick up. So, make sure to stake everything down, when you arrive…whether it’s windy at that time or not. Expect some pop-up showers because it is Florida, after all.
Each campground area will have food vendors, bars, ice trucks, toilets, and free water stations. Make sure to locate your closest options as soon as you set up.
Shower pods are also located throughout the campgrounds. Tokens for showers can be purchased at any General Store (including the main one located in the Village). Shower hours:
Thursday, March 5: 12am – 7pm
Friday / Saturday / Sunday: 7am – 7pm
Monday, March 9: 7am – 1pm
